FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR TEA EXPANSION AT CYATO SITE

👤 NAEB

The project was in line with the new teas sector strategy for Rwanda that aim at increasing production and productivity, improving quality of green leaf, diversifying the tea product portfolio, etc. Over 2000 ha of Cyato site, we successfully accomplished environmental suitability assessment of Cyato site Vis as tea crop farming, need assessment and availability of basic infrastructures to develop the viability of the project implementation at Cyato site, impact assessment of the project on the social economic aspect. Our work was responding to the general description and illustration of the project area, reference situation of the project, as well as justifying the suitability of the district and sub district to the tea production by conducting soil analysis, its structure and composition. We proposed approaches for tea and forest allocation in the land use of the district, as well as proposing human settlements that would be suitable for food, famer and animal keepers.

THE DEVELOPMENT OF ISAKA LOGISTIC FACILITY Finished Urban Planning & Physical Layouts

THE DEVELOPMENT OF ISAKA LOGISTIC FACILITY

👤 MINICOM

The project aimed to conduct a feasibility study for developing Rwanda's land in Tanzania and detailed Engineering design of the fence, with the consultant undertaking extensive research and analysis. We explored Rwanda's trade challenges due to reliance on neighboring ports, Tanzania offer of land as a logistics hub, and socio-economic conditions in Tanzania. We investigated into policy aspects, detailing land use regulations and infrastructure plans, including port and railway location. After understanding the project scope and requirements, we proposed Dry Port which will help in Reduction of transport cost by reducing dependence on long haul road transportation; congestion and delays at maritime ports and facilitate regional trade integration through efficient logistics by reducing time used in transiting.
